The Integrating Combination Kit is for applications with highly mobile workers and stationary applications too. The dBadges are ideal when monitoring workers who move around between many different noisy locations, or who are in areas where measurements with a sound level meter is difficult or unsafe.
The CEL620A2 Sound Level Meter can be used to carry out a full and detailed assessment. A hand-held meter such as this is also convenient for assessing situations where workers are relatively stationary.
The dBadge Noise Dosemeters included in this kit are the Standard version that includes data logging and detailed Time History. You can leave them unattended on the worker and download the measurements at the end of the working shift. The graphical reports will clearly show the noisier times of day.
The CEL620A2 is also a data logging meter, storing the cumulative values such as Leq, LCpeak, min, max, etc. This meter does not store a Time History of the noise, but as you are present when making measurements this may not be needed. If you need more advanced logging then please consider the Octave Band Combination Kit.
The Insight software that is included with this kit downloads measurements from both the dBadge and the Sound Level Meter. There is only one software package to learn to use and the measurements can all be related to the same people, places or processes. For more information please visit the Insight Noise Management Software pages.
