The Real-Time Combination Kit is ideal for assessing the noise
exposure of large numbers of mobile and stationary workers. This
kit is particularly suited to noise consultants and safety officers
in larger factories.
The doseBadge Noise Dosemeters are attached to the worker and
monitor throughout the day, measuring and calculating the worker's
daily noise exposure, or LEP,d. The doseBadges are particularly
suited to workers who are very mobile and those working in confined
spaces and the cabs of mobile equipment.
The hand-held sound level meter can be used for spot checks and,
as a data logging meter, can be used for the longer term monitoring
of workshops and similar environments. When the noise exposure
levels are particularly high, the meter can measure in the Octave
Bands and the software uses these measurements to calculate the
level at the ear when wearing different hearing protection devices.
As this is a real-time analyser, it is ideal for those
applications with high noise levels that can vary rapidly. As it
measures in all the bands at the same time the octave band measurements
are much quicker and easier. This meter has just one very large
range, removing the necessity to select the range before making
measurements and taking away the risk of using the wrong range,
resulting in overload or under-range readings in some
of the bands.
